Hey Kara,

How have you been?

I'm sorry it took me so long to owl you, it's been very busy here lately. We moved to a village near Lyon , it's very nice. The weather is much better here than it is in England so that's a pro. Beauxbatons is HUGE (must be because Madame maxime is so damn large), they have an enourmous library and it's so cool, it's just too bad most of the books are french...

But despite that I still miss Hogwarts like crazy, the gardens, the Hall, even some of the teachers (can you believe it?). But most of all I miss you Kara, I really do. I feel sorry for leaving you like that.

I don't know what to say to you Kara. I just hope you'll be fine and have a lot of fun there at Hogwarts!

Had a nasty run in with Nott today. We just threw insults back and forth for a while. It was actually quite a lot of fun.  After that, Nott and I met again. I had a lot less fun that time....

He actually made my hair purple! So after searching for about three hours I decided it was impossible to find a countercurse so I just went to Madame Pomfrey who turned my hair back to its normal color.

He's still nagging me about Kara... Good thing I can nag him back about Caelan *grin*

Well I'm off to bed...

I had a great time with Kara doing homework in the library. She is such a nice girl! Good sense of humor too. We were just making fun of Lockhart when Nott started bothering us. Git! He is so annoying!
To make it worse he was joined by Malfoy a few minutes later.
Good thing I had classes so I could leave.

It's quiet around Hogwarts now. Quite the opposite of this afternoon. Some Slytherin first years were trowing dung bombs at some first year Ravenclaws in the hall near the transfiguration classroom. Of course that resulted in revenge. Of course Scar hid him self to avoid the chaos. Found him under my bed, coward. It's pretty late now and things have finally quiet down and even Scar plucked up courage to reappear. He's roaming around the dormitory now, probably searching for mice.  Well I'm off to bed now, tomorrow we have double potions with Ravenclaw. Double Snape...great...
